The South West and Wales Africa Research Network is a cross-disciplinary research network for people with an interest in the continent of Africa. Our aim is to create a vibrant, cross-institutional, cross-disciplinary research community with a focus on Africa.
Our objectives are to:
- Promote and support the development of doctoral supervision and training on Africa
- Enhance regional collaboration and networking on Africa, and with African partners
- Support the development of collaborative research, impact and grant applications on Africa
- Create a cross-disciplinary community to share, develop and promote cutting-edge research on Africa
- Support the development of postgraduate and early-career African researchers and those working on Africa
